Nick Cannon’s 4Count Master The Art of Connect Four

Posted on May 28, 2014 by

From mimes to a kid metal band, America’s Got Talent host, Nick Cannon has seen it all. And that’s why we’re trusting the former child star, actor and rapper to help infuse Canada with some good ol’ American pizazz with his pop band, 4Count.

Under Cannon’s guidance (he’s their manager), 4Count’s Aaron Scott, Ben Robinson, and brothers Adam and Kieran Ackerman uprooted their California lives for Toronto. And judging by their latest hit “Epic,” they’ll soon be dominating the Canadian airwaves with their dub-step layered, R&B infused, pop sound. And like their mentor before them, they’re also looking to take over your TV schedule with their upcoming YTV show.

Before their lives become complete and utter mayhem, ANDPOP’s Simon Mohos got the chance to sit down with 4Count for a quick chat. The band talk about making the move to the cold North, what it was like to film their “Epic” music video and which top producer they’ve been working with for their new album.

Along with ANDPOP editor Portia Baladad, Simon also decided to take full advantage of Mississauga’s Playdium arcade by challenging the band to a couple of fun arcade games and a round of bumper cars.

Who mastered the art of giant Four Squares? Who went home sad and ticketless? Watch to find out!
