It looks like Jay Z and Beyoncé are throwing it back to their “03 Bonnie and Clyde” roots. The musical power couple will be hitting the road together this summer for their joint “On The Run” tour.
Named after their collaboration “Part II (On The Run)” (off of Jay Z’s last album, Magna Carta Holy Grail), the 16-city tour will kick off on June 25 in Miami and end in San Francisco on August 5. The two will also make stops in Toronto (July 9) and Winnipeg (July 27). Full tour dates are available on Beyoncé’s website.
The two have often appeared at each other’s respective shows but have not toured together. We presume the flames to work together professionally were fanned after the success of Beyoncé’s hit song, “Drunk in Love” which Jay Z appeared on. While it wasn’t their first collaboration together (let’s not forget “’03 Bonnie and Clyde,” “Crazy In Love,” etc.), it has been a bit hard to forget about their electrifying performance of the Beyoncé track at this year’s Grammys.
Beyoncé and Jay Z will celebrate their sixth anniversary as a married couple this year. They have one daughter together, two-year-old Blue Ivy Carter.
