With the kind of frenzy she can conjure in an instant, it’s no wonder why Beyoncé has landed the cover of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” issue.
“Her secret: hard work, honesty and authenticity,” writes Facebook’s Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg. “And her answer to the question, What would you do if you weren’t afraid? appears to be “Watch me. I’m about to do it.” Then she adds, “You can, too.””
In celebration of the occasion, Queen Bey has officially released the music video for “Pretty Hurts” on Time.com. The video was only available to those who purchased her self-titled album.
Also joining Beyonce on Time’s list of influencers are singer-actress Miley Cyrus, The Fault in our Stars author John Green, actor Matthew McConaughey, whistle blower Edward Snowden, producer Pharrell Williams and teenage activist Malala Yousafzai.
