How does one celebrate the release of their long-awaited single? If you’re Ed Sheeran, you do a lifestream with YouTuber Jacksgap, a.k.a. Jack Harries.
Ed raced from BBC Radio 1’s studios after premiering his latest song, the Pharrell Williams-produced “Sing,” to Google’s Central London offices for a forty minute sit-down with the popular YouTuber on Monday.
The singer answered fan questions, talked a little bit about the new single, and gave Jack a taste of his hectic day. Ed also got a good look at a “Sing” lyric video that features other YouTubers, many of whom were sitting in the livestream audience.
Ed’s upcoming album, the recently announced “X”, is scheduled for release on June 23, 2014.
