He of spontaneous house party appearances (dish washing and bartending included), the great Bill Murray took over Letterman Wednesday night so he could cross off some very important bucket list items.
And with host David Letterman’s help, he did just that. He told a joke during the the opening monologue (a perfectly clever you-don’t-need-to-know-anything-about-politics quip), plugged in his latest movie, director Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel, and even took a selfie with Lady Gaga who, coincidentally, probably helped a bunch of people cross off some bucket list items afterwards.
As part of the Bill Murray House Party Watch, we do have a couple of questions though: did Bill Murray finally get a cellphone? He did whip out a black iPhone so he could take a selfie with Lady Gaga and Letterman. Or did he just borrow it for the occasion? And if he is the proud owner of a smartphone, what’s going on with the hotline? Do producers still have to call that in order to convince him to be in part of their latest project?
Hmmm… Maybe we can finally follow him to the next big house party. Call us, Bill!
