Rixton Gambles Their Lives in “Me and My Broken Heart” Music Video

Never fall for the con artists, unless you can out con them. That’s the lesson British boy band Rixton shares in their latest music video for “Me and My Broken Heart.”

In it, the Rixton’s Jake Roche, Danny Wilkin, Charley Bagnall and Lewi Morgan get scammed by some pretty ladies who are used to getting boys to do as they please and are then lured into a seedy game of poker — you know, the kind that takes place in dimly lit back rooms. The boys also take this opportunity to feel like badasses as they take center stage and perform in a boxing ring.

With Jake’s voice, any fan of early Maroon 5 will love this Rixton song, and any other cover the boys upload on their YouTube channel. Just in case you need some more convincing, we’re big fans of their version of “Thong Song.”

“Me and My Broken Heart” is the title track of their latest EP (now on iTunes!).

The boys celebrated the premiere of their music video by partying it up at Los Angeles’ Lucky Strike Bowling Alley on Wednesday. The boys even picked up their instruments to perform a couple of tracks. The boys are currently busy touring, with multiple stops in the U.K. and three dates stateside. Hopefully, they will soon expand their horizons and visit us nice folks in Canada in the near future.
