Is your morning playlist getting stale? Change it up with our new favourite tracks.

“Surfboard” by Cody Simpson

These days Cody Simpson is a pretty busy guy. Between busting out tangos on Dancing with the Stars, he somehow found the time to release his latest song “Surfboard.” Cody is growing up and it shows on this song. Can’t wait for his next album to come out!

“Red Eyes” by The War On Drugs

The War On Drugs is one of my all time favourite indie bands, and they released their latest album Lost in the Dream this year after a three year hiatus. This song is a perfect “sit in a bath on a rainy day” or “dance around in your underwear” track and I advice you to do just that.

“Fever” by The Black Keys

Speaking of indie bands who are back, The Black Keys released “Fever” this week as their first single ahead of their eighth studio album Turn Blue (A/N: How did I let their first six albums go unnoticed?).

“Dark Horse” by Katy Perry ft. Juicy J

I have been trying to find room for this song in Musical Prozac for weeks, and at last here it is. Like any good musician or slowly growing cancer, Katy Perry has the ability to get stuck in your head and never ever leave. There’s something about this song that makes me want to drop it like it’s hot every single time I hear it and, after hearing it about a gazillion times, I guess that’s a good thing.
