In the world of celebrity news, there’s no shortage of hits and misses. This week, Chelsea Handler shuts down an annoying Piers Morgan, Justin Bieber isn’t happy and Lindsay Lohan has a long, impressive list of lovers.
HIT: Chelsea Handler shuts down Piers Morgan
Late night host Chelsea Handler doesn’t take shit from anybody, including CNN host Piers Morgan. After implying she doesn’t do much after she films her show (despite being a guest on Morgan’s in support of her new book, Uganda Be Kidding Me), Morgan couldn’t stop interrupting or insulting her. “You just weren’t keeping my attention,” Morgan offered as an explanation.
“That’s not my problem!” Handler said. “This is your show, you have to pay attention to the guest you invited on your show.”
“Maybe that’s why your show is ending,” she added. BOOM.
MISS: Justin Bieber isn’t the happiest of people during his deposition
It must be difficult to be under the microscope 24/7 and it looks like the pressure is finally getting to Justin Bieber. In regards to a photographer suing one of his bodyguards, videos of the singer during his deposition surfaced online earlier this week and it doesn’t shed the greatest light on Justin. He was clearly annoyed, got defensive over questions about Selena Gomez and was uncooperative during portions of the interview. It may have been a bad week for Justin but we hope he remembers to kill them with kindness next time.
HIT: Lindsay Lohan’s long list of lovers
InTouch claims they’ve uncovered Lindsay Lohan’s handwritten and long star-filled list of lovers. While many of the names have been blurred out for legal reasons, the ones that have been left untouched are pretty impressive: Justin Timberlake, Max George of the Wanted, Heath Ledger, Evan Peters, Zac Efron and Joaquin Phoenix — just to name a few. Is it too good to be true? Who knows but the writing does seems to check out as the list matches with Lindsay Lohan’s impossibly neat writing.
MISS: Two people killed were killed by a suspected drunk driver at SXSW
Two people were killed and 23 more injured after a suspected drunk driver drove through temporary street barricades and crashed into a crowd gathered outside of rapper Tyler, The Creator’s South By South West show in Austin, Texas early Thursday morning. The suspect tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by the authorities after an officer took him down with a stun gun. Tragedy doesn’t even begin to describe how terrible this accident was. It was the result of a reckless and stupid decision that could have easily been avoided.
HIT: Elizabeth Olsen is reportedly engaged to her actor beau, Boyd Holbrook
It looks like there might be the possibility of a double Olsen wedding, but it won’t be Ashley getting married alongside Mary-Kate and her French banker fiancé. Their younger sister, up-and-coming actress Elizabeth Olsen, has reportedly said yes to her actor boyfriend of two years, Boyd Holbrook. It’s seems like the natural step as gossip has been claiming that the two moved into a place in Brooklyn together a few months ago. Congrats, Elizabeth!
MISS: The Bachelor‘s Juan Pablo reign of terror is mercifully over
Full disclosure: this writer is not a fan of The Bachelor but she wishes she started watching this season when the dating show finally produced a villain everyone could hate: this season’s bachelor, Juan Pablo. The lothario was emotionally manipulative as he used his young daughter to sway the women of the show, referred to sex as “swimming in the ocean,” and was just plain offensive in every manner so much so that a few women opted to leave the show. The only decent thing this guy did was not proposing to the “winner” Nikki during the finale or told her he loved her on the after show. As terrible as Juan Pablo was, we’re just not sure if we’re ready to see him go. Even though this PR nightmare rightfully lost out on the chance to compete on Dancing With The Stars reportedly rescinded an offer afterwards, he did make for some fantastic television and gossip.
