While Miley Cyrus may not care about what other people think of her, the Bangerz singer does care about how her Smilers are treated.
Miley wasn’t afraid to voice her displeasure after she saw a fan get in trouble for taking a photo during her show in Dallas Wednesday night.
As any frequent concert goer would know, cameras and any other type of recording device are usually banned from the venue.
According to this Instagram video by user lovelovelove343, Miley reportedly said, “You can’t take a picture at a concert? What the fuck is that? Fuck. Someone just got in trouble for taking a picture of the fucking concert. That’s why you guys paid $1,000 a fucking ticket so you can take a fucking picture of me. Fuck.”
While fans may not necessarily pay $1,000, they do pay quite a bit of money to see their favourite stars in action. It’s nice to see Miley stick up for her devoted fans, especially considering these fans probably just want a way to remember the night. Besides, most fan photos are taken with point-and-shoot cameras or with smart phones and hence are not sellable quality. So why the fuss?
Oh, Miley. You are the celebrity of the people and we love you for it.
