With countless celebrities sharing their thoughts in 140 characters or less, it’s almost impossible to keep up with what’s going on with everyone — until now. Every Friday ANDPOP’s Gabriella Zicarelli will be rounding up the best celebrity tweets to help you stay in the loop.
“We are the Champions”
This past Sunday marked the last day of this year’s Sochi Olympics but it wasn’t before the men’s Canadian hockey team defeated Sweden in a 3-0 shutout to bring home the gold. Needless to say, Twitter was filled with Canadian pride and joining in on the fun was Vancouver native Michael Bublè who got his band together for this short but sweet performance of Queen’s “We Are the Champions.”
Who wouldn’t love a bit of Queen after a big win?
Now That’s Bad Ass Bathing
Relaxing and unwinding with a warm bath and Breaking Bad bath salts — that’s how Harry Potter star Tom Felton likes to roll…

Bitch! (Sorry it had to be done)
Because We Love Hot Guys and Their Adorable Cats
Nothing warms my heart more than seeing adorable cat photos online these days, but when they’re courtesy of their hot owners, well I think you see where I’m going here. This week adorable cat of the week comes The Vampire Diaries’ Paul Wesley with this photo of how his cat sleeps.
Standing Up to Bullies
Supporting the fight against bullying, One Direction’s Niall Horan posted this photo urging fans to lend their support. The Shield Campaign is in support of the Irish Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) and will run throughout March. The organization also helps to provides schools with a “Shield my School” anti-bullying toolkit.
How about a bonus campaign ad featuring all of the lads?
That’s One Way to Get Attention
When it coms to getting your favourite artist’s attention at a concert, there is no shortage of questionable poster. This is one of those posters. 5 Seconds of Summer are currently on tour and there was one poster in particular that got the attention of one Ashton Irwin.
Someone in the audience has a big ass sign that says…. “MOIST” — Ashton Irwin (@Ashton5SOS) February 25, 2014
Could it be something suggestive? Yes, but let’s explore other options like, maybe it was raining and her hair was still wet. Or in a fit of excitement, she dropped her soda all over her pretzel and was sharing the condition said pretzel was in… *Cough*
Recently making his way to Vancouver to film the third installment to Night at the Museum, Ricky Gervais was recently reminded of the trademark kindness of Canadians, and had nothing but nice things to say about it.
I’d forgotten how polite, happy and charming Canadians are. What a delightful country. — Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) February 23, 2014
Let’s also remember that he tweeted this after Canada won gold in hockey so our happiness and niceness was at an all time high.
Bringing out the Big Guns with Puns
Not only is Olly Murs hard at work with music, he’s also been spending time in the gym working on getting fit (he looked just as dreamy before.) Being the cheeky and adorable dork he is, he took the opportunity to use a pun and photo to share his progress.
Murs, you just get more and more adorable.
This Should Never Acceptable
I don’t even know where the reasoning lies behind putting mirrors in a shower, especially at a hotel, and frankly I don’t want to know. So just leave it to 2 Broke Girls Star Kat Dennings to call out the hotel on its weirdness.
Dear my hotel: go back in time and delete the mirrors from the shower — Kat Dennings (@OfficialKat) February 25, 2014
As unacceptable as Crocs.
The Moment Stephen Amell and Jared Padalecki Turned into Frat Boys
I always get a kick out of witnessing grown men turn into excited frat boys over their favourite activities or TV shows. It’s weird I know, but this moment when Arrow’s Stephen Amell and Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki fanboyed? over WrestleMania is a great example.
But don’t let that hashtag worry you, Stephen smoothed everything over and all is good.
Well, thank goodness that friendship is saved.
