We now have two perfectly good reasons why you should be excited for the Fantastic Four reboot as the comic book franchise has scooped up That Awkward Moment co-stars Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan for two of its starring roles.
Teller has been offered the role of Reid Richards a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic and Michael B. Jordan has been tapped to play Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, according to Variety. Rounding off the Fantastic Four cast is House of Cards’ Kate Mara, who has also reportedly closed a deal to play Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, and Brit actor Jamie Bell, who the studio is expected to tap for the role of Ben Grimm/The Thing.
The first Fantastic Four movie to be released into theatres starred Jessica Alba and Chris Evans back in 2005. Its sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, was released in 2007. Both films were big box office hits but were received poorly by critics.
Hopefully with rising stars Teller and Jordan on its roaster, The Fantastic Four reboot fares much better when it’s drops on June 19, 2015.
