Brit Band Rixton Release An Acoustic Version of “Make Out”

Rixton has released a new video for “Make Out” from the acoustic recording session along with a free download of the mellow tune.

The original song was released by the British boy band last year and their music video has since had over a million views on YouTube.

The latest music video will have you smiling like a fool watching Jake Roche, Danny Wilkin, Charley Bagnell and Lewi Morgan singing, playing guitar, piano and percussion and clapping while playing off each others’ musical cues.

I find the acoustic track to be much better than the original music video. Though amusing (as they spoof popular videos like Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and Katy Perry’s “Roar”) you don’t realize how distracting the video is from the brilliance of the song. The new version of “Make Out” is a true testament to Rixton’s talents (both vocally and instrumentally) and shows the reality of their inevitable success.

Rixton is under Scooter Braun’s School Boy Records, with the release of their debut album expected out later this year.

For now, check out all their videos on YouTube and download the acoustic version of “Make Out” for free here.
