One of the most talked about book-to-films adaptations finally has a trailer. That’s right, folks: the cryfest known as The Fault In our Stars finally has a trailer and it is glorious.
Based on author and nerd fighter John Green’s book of the same name, The Fault In Our Stars follows Hazel Grace (The Spectacular Now’s Shailene Woodley), a young cancer patient who falls in love for the first time with cancer survivor and former basketball player, Augustus Waters (Divergent’s Ansel Elgort).
Those who have read the book will instantly recognize many scenes, including snippets of their first meeting, Hazel and Gus’ trip to Amsterdam and the infamous egg throwing scene (Justin Bieber not required). They also say, “okay” a lot. OKAY, guys. OKAY!! UGH!
Sorry, we’re ugly crying right now and this is only two and a half minutes worth of footage. We’ll be counting down the days until the full movie hits theatres June 6, 2014.
