While the One Direction boys take some time off (Niall had knee surgery, Liam has been spending his time on apartment building ledges and Louis has been watching football), Harry has been spending lots of time with his stateside friends.

Ignoring the fact that he won’t publicly confirm or deny that he is indeed dating Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kendall Jenner, this piece of news is all about him supporting his friend, Zach Braff, at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah this weekend.

Styles walked the red carpet with actor/producer/director Zach Braff for the premiere of Braff’s second directorial film effort, Wish I Was Here,  Saturday night.

Wish I Was Here premiered at Sundance on Saturday and the singer later tweeted about the former Scrubs star’s movie. From the sounds of things, he loved it.

Later congratulating Zach and his brother, Adam Braff (who co-wrote and co-produced the film), on a great movie.

Wish I Was Here is about a 35-year-old husband, father and struggling actor who finds his identity through taking on the job of homeschooling his children. The movie also stars Kate Hudson (How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days), Joey King (Ramona and Beezus), Pierce Gagnon (One Tree Hill) and Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga).

You can check out Braff talking about the production process of the movie here.
