Miley Cyrus Denies Dissing Beyoncé

Posted on January 2, 2014 by

Miley Cyrus said a few nasty things about Beyoncé — or someone claims she has. In fact, “Adore You” singer denied over Twitter that she said anything negative about Queen Bey in her recent LOVE magazine interview.

According to Perez Hilton, Miley apparently Miley revealed her true feelings about Beyoncé and went as far as saying that the superstar is getting old and so “out.” “Beyoncé has been a big inspiration to me but she’s been out for such a long time,” she allegedly told the magazine. “She’s so talented and I think she’s at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that’s what I bring to the game now, new blood. I got the total package you know, the curves, the rhythm, and the voice. I’m just the best.”

The gossip site also claims that Miley has some thoughts on the impact of motherhood on Beyoncé’s career: “As Beyoncé grows in motherhood and all the crap it does to your body, it will create a vacuum for fresh young faces to rise up and no one else can properly fill that void right now. I’m the only white female singer that could fill that slot right now and do it right, you know? I’m just the total package, you know? All things must start and end and I hope to have the same success as other icons in the game when my run is over. But for now, my run is just starting.”

For the record, the February issue of LOVE magazine is not yet available on newsstands (it’s out February 3, according to their site) nor has the mag published the featured interview online.

But that hasn’t stopped Miley from fighting back or telling her fans on Twitter that she would never say that about Beyoncé:

We’re sure Miley knows that Beyoncé is the BEST: she’s the total package and is looking better than ever. No argument.

Whether she said it or not — and hopefully she didn’t — we all know that Bey killed it this past year, selling 617,000 copies of Beyoncé, in its first week out. She even outsold Katy Perry’s Prism, which sold 286,000 copies, as well as Lady Gaga’s ARTPOP, which sold 285,000 in their first week of release. For the record, Miley’s Bangerz only sold 270,000 in its first week — a decent number, but nowhere close to the Queen.

2013 was Beyoncé’s year and 2014 is looking pretty good as well. Beyoncé is queen and that’s that. And if there happens to be any Beyoncé haters out there, there’s really only one more thing left to say:
