When it comes to Twitter, most of what’s out there can be categorized as the good, the bad, or the ugly. Well, luckily for you, we sifted through all the bad and ugly to bring you the cream of the crop: the funniest, most relatable, and most crazy tweeters.
Check out our Top Ten Twitter Accounts of 2013 to see if your favourite social media addicts made the list!
10. Seth Rogen (@Sethrogen)
His twitter account tends to fly under the radar, but Seth Rogen is actually one of the funniest people on the social media site. Let’s not forget the time he gave us a photo of James Franco holding a puppy. James Franco and PUPPIES. As if that weren’t enough, he also supplied the Internet with “Bound 3,” a.k.a. the Greatest Video Ever Made.
.@KimKardashian thanks! Some of those positions were really uncomfortable. That shit is harder than it looks.

9. Maude Apatow (@maudeapatow)
Now that everyone over the age of five seems to own a smartphone, preteens have been running rampant over every existing form of social media. Maude Apatow is a pleasant surprise amidst the duck face selfies captioned with a Katy Perry lyric. And with parents as funny as Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow, it only makes sense that everything she tweets is hilarious/confusing/perfect.
Once I accidentally stepped on a dead rat barefoot and cried. Ok got to go, the One Direction movie is starting!

8. Jim Gaffigan (@JimGaffigan)
Gaffigan is a comedian, so you will inevitably laugh at all his tweets. But what’s even better than his humour is his ability to tell the truth about food. And I mean the whole, dark, scary truth. We’re all thinking it, and Jim had the guts to ask: what does being hungry really have to do with anything?
Me: Anyone want a donut? Bobby: I'm not hungry. Me: What does that have to do with it?

7. Chrissy Teigen (@chrissyteigen)
She’s a Sports Illustrated model and wife to John Legend (jealous much?), but Teigen is best known for her shameless naked Instagram selfies and ruthless replies to Twitter haters. Her “no filter” attitude allows her to tweet things most would consider off-limits, and bring a shock and awe factor to your feed like nobody else.
I'm not saying I hate work but some days more than others I am a little more okay with the cab door opening on the freeway as I sleep on it.

6. Miley Cyrus (@MileyCyrus)
If your Miley fix isn’t satisfied by what feel like weekly – and let’s face it, sometimes daily – scandals, then your best bet is to check out her Twitter feed. We can always count on her to provide us with a new feud to follow or a new outfit to make our jaws hit the floor. She’s also not afraid to crack a joke at her own expense.
my karma for clicking on "10 celebs with cankles"….. I was on it.
— Miley Ray Cyrus (@MileyCyrus) December 8, 2013
5. Mae Whitman (@maebirdwing)
Mae Whitman is the perfect combination of sweet and funny. Her absolutely adorable relationship with roommate and Parenthood costar Miles Heizner and hilarious back-and-forth banter with Kirsten Bell will make you wish you were the best friend she was tweeting at.
will i feel better if i shave my legs? asking for a friend

4. Josh Groban (@joshgroban)
Groban’s voice is indescribable, but lucky for you, it can describe a whole lot of experiences in quirky and unexpected ways on Twitter. Exhibit A: He live tweeted a cheese platter. If that’s not something that interests you, I suggest you find another, inevitably more boring, list.

3. Mindy Kaling (@mindykaling)
Maybe it’s just me, but sometimes Kaling’s tweets are so relatable it’s downright scary. Which is strange, because I’m not a well-established comedy writer and actress with my own show. I do, however, pull strange items out of my long hair and eat at dinner parties where nobody else seems to be doing so.
I think I was the only person who ate food at the bbq I was at today – and I'm fine with that – I just want everyone to know that I know.
— Mindy Kaling (@mindykaling) May 28, 2013
2. Lena Dunham (@lenadunham)
I’ll admit it: Hannah is not my favourite character from Girls but Lena Dunham is one of my favourite characters on Twitter! She’s exactly herself and is one hundred percent upfront about what she’s thinking, even if to the average person, what she’s thinking seems absolutely nuts.
"In terms of how often to shower, I think it's all about how YOU feel" –advice I just gave to a child

1. Anna Kendrick (@AnnaKendrick47)
Whether she’s eating Taco Bell at a shameful hour or discussing how to solve pale people problems, Anna Kendrick has one of the best senses of humour on Twitter. She’s not squeaky clean, though. By retweeting a dirty joke about Ryan Gosling, she cemented herself as the site’s cheekiest redhead and number one on our list.
