If your fellow Belieber looks a little sad today it’s probably because of what Justin Bieber said during his latest radio interview. “After the new album, I’m actually, I’m retiring man, I’m retiring,” Justin told L.A.’s Power 106. “I think I’m probably going to quit music.”
We hope what he really means is he’s going to retire like the way Jay Z “retired” — a.k.a. not retire at all.
Justin does, however, deserve a break. While 2013 wasn’t such a great year for him publicity-wise (the scuffle with the paps, his break-up with Selena Gomez), he did make the most of it. He graced our ears with new music every (Music) Monday and is set to release yet another documentary on Christmas. He also worked hard to give back to, not only his community, but the world. Justin helped raise over $1.164 million to help those affected by typhoon Haiyan (known locally as Yolanda) in the Philippines.
We just hope Justin misspoke and just meant he wanted to take a well-deserved break. I don’t think the world is ready to lose Justin just yet.
