American Hustle and 12 Years A Slave Lead Golden Globe Noms

Award season is so close we could almost taste it. But people have to get nominated for shit before we can all start fan-girling all over those red carpets.

It looks like the Golden Globes are going to be a fun time, and not only because Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the shindig yet again. It’s going to be a hard pool to crack thanks to this year’s wildly talented nominees.

Leading the pack with seven nominations each areĀ 12 Years a Slave and American Hustle, including Jennifer Lawrence for Supporting Actress in the film. The nominated Animated Films are The Croods, Despicable Me 2 and the holiday movie Frozen.

Also nominated areĀ The Big Bang Theory, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Girls, Modern Family, and Parks and Recreation for Series, Musical or Comedy. For Actress in a Musical or Comedy New Girl‘s Zooey Deschanel, Parks and Recreation’s Amy Poehler got a well-deserved nod, as well as The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Andy Samberg for Actor in a Musical or Comedy.
