We have to wonder if music mogul Simon Cowell knew exactly what he was doing when he put Lauren Jauregui, Normani Hamilton, Ally Brooke, Camila Cabello and Dinah-Jane Hansen in a group instead of eliminating them on The X-Factor. We don’t think he did.
In our minds, there’s no way anyone could predict that this girl group (who would change their name from LYLAS to 1432 to finally, Fifth Harmony) would not only become one of the show’s more popular acts despite not winning the competition, but also turn into the best of friends.
Together, they’re like firecrackers: full of energy, mischief and, when artfully arranged, stunningly beautiful. In fact, they actually toilet papered their mentor Simon Cowell’s home for his birthday. Needless to say, their music is just as playful as they are.
In honour of their slumber party-themed “Me And My Girls” music video, ANDPOP’s Simon Mohos plays a round of the sleepover classic Truth or Dare with Fifth Harmony when they were last in Toronto.
