While there’s been a lot of focus on the negative press surrounding Justin Bieber lately, it’s about time we turn the page and focus on all the good he’s been doing in the world.
Teaming up with Pencils of Promise, whose initiative is to support educational opportunities for kids around the world who may not have access to a proper or no education at all, Justin got his hands dirty by helping to build a school in Guatemala.
Feeling inspired, shared his experience in a YouTube video. “It was just a wake-up call for me,” Justin said. “Any problem that I have, It’s nothing at all. These kids have absolutely nothing — no food, no water, no education. Yet, we’re stressing over the little things… They’re so happy. They’re just so happy.”
Justin also gave away his sneakers to a local boy who didn’t have any. I mean how sweet is that?
The video definitely shows a lot of growth and maturity from the 19-year-old. It’s sure to make doubters do a bit of a double make and his fans proud.
