Emblem3 feel a little homesick in the music video for their second single, “3000 Miles.”
The song, off their album Nothing To Lose, is much more subdued than their first single, “Chloe (You’re The One I Want)” as Wesley Stromberg, Keaton Stromberg, and Drew Chadwick sing about just how difficult it is the be away from home.
“3000 Miles” also seems to have been written straight from the heart as 2013 has proven to be a whirlwind year for the band. After placing fourth place in the second season of the X-Factor, the band went right into the studio to record their first album. They were also tapped to help support international super star Selena Gomez on her Stars Dance tour this summer in Canada and will continue to support Selena during the American leg of her tour.
Emblem3 actually had to shoot their latest music video during a rare break in their schedule. “3000 Miles” also features home videos from Wesley, Keaton and Drew’s childhood.
Basically, fans get the best of both worlds: little Emblem3 and present-day Emblem3. D’aw.
