It seems that after 22 years of marriage, Kris and Bruce Jenner just couldn’t keep up (lame, I know) anymore as the famous reality TV couple have officially confirmed they have been separated for a year now.
The tabloids have speculated that there was trouble in Kardashian-Jenner paradise for months now, which they have all but denied — until now. “We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the couple told E! News. ”But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”
In an exclusive interview with US Weekly, Kris revealed that they currently do not have any divorce plans. She was also sure to make one thing very clear: “We ended a marriage, but that’s not the end of our friendship.” She went on to add that, “There is no animosity. We are united and committed to our family. I will always love him, but we are longer a couple in that way.”
Well let’s hope these two will be able to keep the friendship going and continue to leave hatred out of the picture for the sake of their large family.
In other Kardashian related news, Kanye West will appear on Jimmy KImmel Live tonight and it’s sure to make for some interesting television.
After going on a full-on Twitter tirade late last month after Jimmy Kimmel cracked a few jokes about his BBC interview, Kanye West is set to sit down with the late night funny man in what might end up being the most interesting late night interview since Joaquin Phoenix “went nuts” on David Letterman.
Jimmy revealed the news on Twitter Tuesday night, making it clear that this was not just one of his elaborate pranks:
TOMORROW NIGHT, MY GUEST WILL BE @kanyewest (for real, yes and was it all a setup, no)
— Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) October 8, 2013
The Jimmy Kimmel Live website currently lists Kanye as the only guest for tonight’s show, so you know they’re going to have a lot to talk about. Maybe they’ll start the show by joining hands and swaying along to a rendition of “Kumbaya” with Dr. Phil.
Okay, maybe not, but the one thing I’m hoping doesn’t happen is Jimmy apologizing for his skit because in the end, it was suppose to be comedy.
