A stack of printing paper looks exactly like an iPad… Right? Right? Wrong.
It’s too bad for the BBC’s Simon McCoy that people can tell the difference between a stack of paper and an iPad. A BBC spokesperson told The Guardian that while the reporter was prepping to introduce his story,”instead of picking up his tablet to hold as he went to air, he mistakenly picked up a ream of paper that was sitting next to it. In the rush of live news, he didn’t have an opportunity to swap the items, so simply went with it.”
I wonder if McCoy has ever actually seen an iPad. Regardless, kudos to him for going on with the newscast like he wasn’t just standing there with a random stack of paper.
