Welcome to ANDPOP’s newest column, “Must Follow Monday.” Every Monday we will bring you a new hilarious personality to follow. Because we care, we’ll be assembling some of their greatest tweets to date to reel you in and convince you to push that follow button. We aren’t forcing you to follow these people; we are just STRONGLY SUGGESTING for your own personal enjoyment. To kick off our new column, we bring you some of the greatest tweets of Parenthood’s Mae Whitman.
Actress Mae Whitman is our spirit animal. Her willingness to tweet whatever she is thinking at all times is refreshing, and hysterical. Most of you will recognize Whitman from Parenthood and her stint on Lisa Kudrow’s web-series Web Therapy and her role as George Michael’s ex-girlfriend Arrested Development. You’ll most likely recognize her either as Mary-Elizabeth from Perks of Being a Wallflower or as one of the evil ex-
boyfriend girlfriend Michael Cera has to fight in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.
The actress is seriously underrated. Her tweets are up there in the ranks with funny ladies Rebel Wilson and Anna Kendrick—I know. That’s pretty damn funny. You have to follow her at @maebirdwing to keep up with her hilarious antics.
Need some more incentive? Take a look at some of Whitman’s funniest tweets to date, then make that tedious decision to follow or not to follow. That is the question.
The girl’s a total foodie. We can relate.
