Back to school is finally here! Hopefully you aren’t already loaded with homework, assignments, and/or readings to do. But don’t fret. I’m sure you have a handy backpack to put all your notes and textbooks in. Buying a backpack is a big deal. Not only do you need to find one that represents who you are and your style, you also got to make sure you can pack your entire school life into the bag and hope it doesn’t overflow and burst at the seams. Besides from the practical necessity of a backpack, the everyday school item has become quite a fashion statement in recent months.
When I was in school backpacks were more a utilitarian choice rather than a fashion statement. Obviously we all chose something that would look nice but at the end of the day you wanted something that would last and not end up giving you back problems in the future. I’m actually quite jealous at all the cool new choices there are in backpacks. There are sporty ones, leather ones, 90s vintage ones, backpacks with crazy prints, minimalist backpacks, etc. There are so many to choose from! And just like you were shopping for any other major accessory, make sure you consider the quality and versatility in your backpack choice. You definitely want a bag that will work with all your outfits from Fall/Winter to Spring/Summer. So keep that in mind, since you most likely will be using that bag all year you will hope that it goes with your outfits no matter what the season is.
