After years of hopeful wishing (on our part anyways), MTV might just deliver the reunion that we’ve been waiting for. Current pop icon Justin Timberlake will finally be reunited with his old boy band ‘N Sync for an exclusive performance at the VMAs, according to Page Six.
The New York-based newspaper/tabloid says Timberlake, who will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, will be joined on stage by his former bandmates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick. The group has already been spotted out together at Timberlake’s Miami concert with Jay-Z last Friday. They joined Timberlake’s wife, actress Jessica Biel, and his mother, Lynn Harless, in the singer’s VIP section.
As to which of their greatest hits they’ll be performing no one knows. We can only hope we at least get a medley that includes some “Bye Bye Bye” puppetry.
