Cory Monteith Autopsy Results Are Released

Cory Monteith’s toxicology results have been released. According to the British Columbia Coroners Service, Monteith’s death was caused by “a mixture of toxicity, including heroin and alcohol.”

The Glee actor was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room late Saturday night.

Monteith had been open about his troubles with substance abuse in the past and has spoken about his troubles in multiple interviews. The 31-year-old even revealed he was admitted into a rehab facility when he was just 19-years-old. He returned to rehab after admitting himself earlier this year and was released a month later.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Monteith’s family, Glee co-stars and girlfriend Lea Michele.
