I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Supercuts are the best.
In this supercut, you realize that in almost every movie, the protagonist ends up enduring an elevator ride whether it’s a thriller, comedy or a rom-com.
Whether some are trying to meet a villain on the other side of those doors, rushing to meet someone or awaiting their destiny to meet their one true love, elevators are consistent in all movies.
*Cue elevator music*
I spy with my little eye in this supercut; Pulp Fiction, The Matrix, and even Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Yep, both the Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp version.
It’s amazing that one elevator ride can link Hollywood all together. Even the Ghost Busters have to take the elevator sometimes.
