So this is how news stations fill up their airtime as they slash their investigative journalism budgets: they film cowboy monkeys racing up and down their hallways.
The smartly-clad, dog riding monkeys were in town to promote a local bull-riding contest and as ridiculous as it is (the racing monkeys, not the bull-riding), a quick Google search tells us this isn’t a new thing. There are videos of cowboy monkeys herding goat, providing entertainment on at a baseball game, and starring in their own short films. The most famous rodeo monkey of all is Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey who, according to Wikipedia, was in the inspiration behind the phrase “round ‘em up!”
