At last night Grammys Justin Timberlake performed two songs off of his upcoming album The 20/20 Experience. He performed the previously released “Suit & Tie” alongside Jay Z and premiered “Little Pusher Love Girl.”
After giving us what appeared to be the nights surprise, he kept all us fans on our toes for a little bit longer. The big news was the relase of “Mirror.”
My personal verdict on Mirror? Very Justin Timberlake. By definition, “Justin Timberlake” is relaxed, toe taping inducing, catchy, and easy listening. It sounds great, and is no doubt a perfect single to release after “Suit & Tie.” Releasing it after his Grammys performance was very strategic. Timberlake is clearly a master in the music industry. Unsurprisingly, people seem to agree.

“Mirrors” is about someone who comes to realize that they’re meant to be with a certain someone: “ It was easy coming back to you. Once I figured it out, you were right here all along.”
Some might ask if it has anything to do with Timberlake’s wife Jessica Biel. Personally, that might be sweet, but is the idea not to focus on his music instead of how it might reflect his private life? Timberlake put a lot of time and effort into this album so i think we should all appreciate his music and pay him the consideration of not trying to tie it to his private life.
Justin Timberlake, no one does what you do quite like you. You are a true artist and all three of your songs are mindblowingly good. You have been seriously missed by the music industry, but the wait was so worth it. JT clearly put a lot of time and effort into this album. Some may say he’s taking himself too seriously, but the long wait just goes to show how serious this album is to him. I’m ready for this album. I’m also ready for the tour. I had never heard Timberlake performing live, but WOW was he incredible at the Grammys. A certain redhead seems to agree.
There is no question Timberlake’s performance was live, and there is no question it was flawless. The man can sing, he can dance, he is well deserving of his iconic status as a performer. I will now sit here, impatiently waiting for the other songs to be leaked or released because I cannot get enough of Timberlakes new music. Fortunately The 20/2o Experience is available via preorder at the itunes store.
Once again, JT has brought sexy back.
