When I was younger, I remember being convinced one of my parents was harbouring my twin who I was destined to meet at summer camp. This conspiracy was strongly, if not completely, inspired by The Parent Trap. I also dedicated a lot of time to trying to learn their secret handshake.
A lot of teen/kids movies like this from 80s and 90s included music numbers that were lip synched or danced too and I’m sure you recreated some of them. Don’t lie. Whenever you were home alone you slid into the kitchen Risky Business style. Am I right?
We remember these songs and moments because they became iconic in some of our favourite retro movies. I’m thinking of ”Don’t You Forget About Me,” which will go down in history books as the song that accompanied the famous ending scene of The Breakfast Club. It’s time to take a trip down memory lane and re-watch some of these moments.
