When I first moved out of my parents’ place years ago, I experimented with pots and pans from the dollar store, being on a tight student budget and all. They seemed so shiny and bright and most of all affordable. But as luck would have it (or poor quality I guess) they ended up melting on the stove.
That’s why you shouldn’t always trust things from the dollar store. Food, clothing, and especially electrical appliances are on the list. Matthiasiam poked fun of this #truth in “99 cent store will kill you.”
