A tropical cyclone that struck Australia yesterday blanketed a stretch of Australia’s Sunshine Coast in sea foam. The foam reached 10 feet high in some places. Many would say the outcome of a natural disaster is NOT a laughing matter. Australians on the beach beg to differ because they find the foam to be a perfect photo op.
I can’t blame them either — pictures in the foam would make for great display pictures, am I right? I hate to say it, but more find the whole thing amusing rather than threatening. What did a little foam ever do to anyone, right? I guess it’s true what they say, every cloud has a silver lining.
