Poor Matt Damon is always the butt of the joke when it comes to Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show. Constantly featured in Jimmy’s catchphrase: “Apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time!”, Damon FINALLY got his revenge on the talk show host by kidnapping him, taking over the show and inviting a string of A-list celebrities along for the hilarious ride.
You better sit back and prepare yourself to watch a play-by-play of what took place that fateful night. If you missed the show that aired this past Thursday, I can promise that the set of videos that are about to come will cause an emotional whirlwind.
Here’s what went down:
1) Matt Damon kidnapped Jimmy and held him hostage:
Yikes!! Matt Damon is pretty scary when he’s angry. So much so, that it’s kind of borderline psychopathic like The Joker from the Batman series. This is what Jimmy gets for neglecting Matt all these years and calling him “overrated.” Because let’s get real here. It’s F*CKIN MATT DAMON we’re talkin’ about!
2) Matt Damon boasts about his acting:
Relishing at the fact that he’s FINALLY in power, Matt made sure to make every effort to humiliate Jimmy by collecting all of the talk show host’s audition tapes. Jimmy of course, auditioned for every Matt Damon role to date but failed miserably to Matt. With obvious jealousy fueling in Jimmy’s blood, it really is no surprise as to why Jimmy dislikes Matt SO MUCH.
Then Robin Williams finishes his opening monologue:
It’s a bit of a Good Will Hunting reunion over here! Inviting Robin Williams to finish his opening monologue, the comic veteran ranted about Apple’s SIRI software…who we all know, can get quite personal if you ask for certain things…
Matt Damon invites his buddy Ben Affleck to the show:
Inviting his best buddy to put up flashcards for him, Ben Affleck was also on the show. But feeling emotionally conflicted, Ben had to leave because he couldn’t betray Jimmy. Dude, who’s the better friend here? Wasn’t Matt the guy you grew up with in Massachusetts? SO MUCH FOR FRIENDSHIP!!
Sarah Silverman comes on to talk about dating Jimmy Kimmel:
Things got super awkward when Jimmy’s ex Sarah Silverman was invited to chat about her relationship with the host. Not a lot happened, but I felt I really needed to remind all of you about this song.
Things also got super classy with Nicole Kidman, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore and more! :
Alcohol, throwing rocks, trash talking and performing inappropriate acts was also included in this star-studded event!
Then several more people congratulated Matt on his new show:
And because things could not simply go any worse for Jimmy, Matt
hired got a bunch of celebrities to talk some more trash about Jimmy. Must have been quite the burn to hear your parents preferring to have Matt as a son over you…
