Weird internet celebrities united for a new Volkswagen commercial set to appear during the Super Bowl and I’m scared my television might explode as a result. Some of the celebs include that chick who loved cats so much she couldn’t stop crying or that minor league football manager who went bonkers.
It’s pretty smart badvertising on the part of Volkswagen and they even managed to get reggae legend Jimmy Cliff. I’m still not really sure what the whole thing has to do with cars, but apparently Cliff and Volkswagens “infuse much-needed positive and good vibes into a world that’s become awash with freak-outs, meltdowns, and temper tantrums over just about anything.”
They’re also missing Tard the Grumpy Cat and that girl who made the K-Stew/RPatz reaction video. Who do you wish they included in the commercial?
