I’ve always wondered if famous people really understand the reach of their fame. More specifically, I wonder if they automatically assume that everyone around them knows their name or face. It’s seems like a bit of an arrogant thing to think of but to mega-watt stars like Brad Pitt or Angelina Jolie, it’s probably not too far from the truth.
But for celebrities who aren’t daily tabloid fodder, you’d think they would be happy to get by unnoticed. Then again, it must bruise the ego a little when you want to be remembered. Thankfully, there are celebrities who are not above themselves to admit their unfamous ways or rat on their friends.
Take for example, Emily Blunt who yelled at a 6-year-old to tell her she was in The Devil Wears Prada:
or Ryan Gosling who had to tell his cousin he didn’t win an Oscar (starts at 4:27):
and then there are celebrities like John Krasinski who ratted on Matt Damon when he used a magazine to try and prove who he was (Jim Halpert:1 Jason Bourne: 0) :
Oh, celebrities. Please continue going on talk shows. We love it when you admit having bruised egos.
