Imagine if you were riding the subway to school one morning and a bunch of idlers on the train started taking off their pants. Part of me would be like “WTF should I pull the alarm?” while the other half would be slightly curious why so many people were opting for a pantless morning.
That’s exactly went down in NYC on Jan. 13. Tens of thousands of people took off their pants on subways in 60 cities in 25 countries around the world for the twelfth annual “No Pants Subway Ride.” The whole thing is part of Improv Everywhere, which is an NYC-based prank collective designed to cause chaos in public spaces.
