KageNoAku has re-instilled my faith in humanity. Not only does he clearly have passion for the (slightly nerdy) things that he loves, but he puts it on the internet for the world to see. That takes courage, and I love him for it.
When we found KageNoAku, he was unveiling his epic Katana sword for the first time in front of the camera. The excitement that grows upon his face is the cutest display of fangirling I’ve seen.
The best part is that his youtube account is a treasure trove of awesomeness. I thought KageNoAku was good from the Katana unveiling, but he is more than that. He is a certified bad ass in my books.
Here are 5 reasons to love KageNoAku:
1. He fangirls over his sword
KageNoAku paid $135 for this bad boy. Every penny was worth it. Although this video is altogether genius, the best parts are the cameos made my KageNoAku’s family. I can’t decide which one of them I love most.
2. He knows how to survive a zombie apocalypse
Forget all of those How To guides I always see on the interwebz. I would trust a guy with a Katana for survival tips any day.
3. He cares about animals
Aww. KageNoAku stopped his daily adventures just to say hello to this lost puppy. The way he affectionately strokes the dog’s head brings legitimate tears to my eyes.
4. He’s a lover of nature
How often do we stop to appreciate the sounds of the wind? Not often. KageNoAku is on to something.
5. He admits to his imperfections
This video made me feel a lot better for having Harry Potter related things in my room. KageNoAku’s room looks like nerd heaven (and that’s awesome).
Honourable mention: KageNoAku’s little brother makes an epic cameo in the midst of the sword unveiling. “It’s tape” is now my new favourite catch phrase.
