On Sunday, Oct. 14 Austria’s Felix Baumgartner became the only human being to break the sound barrier outside of an airplane, after skydiving from 38 km above the earth. (Aka OMFG.) If you missed the Red Bull Energy Drink-sponsored event then fear not, you can ALMOST feel like you were there through this very realistic re-enactment of the jump through LEGO figures.
Just when you thought you couldn’t make a skydive from space any more spectacular, we’re proven wrong. The video was put together for the Model Maker Fair in Vienna, which runs from Oct. 25-28.
While Baumgartner achieved the highest skydive leap (128,097 ft), the fastest freefall (834mph) AND broke the sound barrier, we’re pretty stoked for this LEGO man. Though not AS IMPRESSED if we’re going to be honest because the plastic figure did not boldly land on his two feet.
