On top of having a beautiful voice, Anna Burden beats a single plastic cup as she’s singing Lulu and the Lampshades “You’re Gonna Miss Me,” to keep the rhythm. I’m always impressed by musicians who can sing while playing an instrument. This version looks especially difficult because of the complex drumming pattern.
The cover isn’t just for kicks either. Burden’s mom runs a small not for profit agency in South Bend, IN, that helps people with alcohol and other drug issues. She writes on YouTube that the agency has had serious financial setbacks and needs help.
