Actor and filmmaker Jeremiah McDonald, most definitely had the creativity most kids never had then to record himself, back in 1992. Fast-forward 20 years to what he did with the VHS footage, and you’ll see him having an extraordinary conversation… with himself. The 32-year-old Jeremiah pours himself a drink while talking to his 12-year-old self, who seems most concerned about the whereabouts of his pets. Of course we’re not all on this planet forever, but you don’t wanna crush the kid’s dream!
When Adult Jeremiah brings up the internet, he needs to explain what it is (I know crazy, right? Imagine life without the internet… I don’t wanna either), “You’ll know what it is in a few years. It’s gonna completely take over your life, you’re going to spend many hours in a room, staring at your screen.”
The video has already gained over a million views in a days length, prompting Jeremiah comment on Twitter, “I’m overwhelmed by the response. Thank you.”
I wish I would have thought of something as clever as this when I was younger, but I was too busy playing with my Barbies and dressing up my brother as the sister I always wish I had. Take some tips people, the technology these days are only getting better. Who knows what’s next to come?
