Seeing that One Direction is probably the biggest boy band on the planet at the moment, it would probably be no surprise that Directioners can get a little bit crazy.
On a recent stop on their tour in Australia, 1D’s Niall Horan told Digital Spy that some girls can react too over the top.
“You can see girls getting too excited and they start crying or worse. In a lot of these countries they don’t get a lot of gigs to go to, so when they get to see their favorite artist, they take full advantage of it.”
He then went on to say, “Obviously the excitement builds up too much for some on the night and they get a bit…crazy. Sometimes I’ve seen some stuff that’s a bit too much!”
Thankfully enough, the Irish lad has some tips for fans waiting outside the venue for hours.
“Sometimes they’ll queue outside a venue for ages for us in the freezing cold. Queuing tips for fans: wrap up and bring food!”
Do you guys think Niall is telling his fans to ease up on the fangirling (or fanboying)?
Honestly, I’m going to the Toronto concert in a couple of days (no shame in that!) and if the fans get a little too crazy and over-the-top, I will not be one happy camper.
Let them live and and enjoy life!
