Justin Bieber caused CHAOS in Oslo when he played a surprise show. It was so cray they almost called a state of emergency. Then we talk about the funniest thing in the world, a new One Direction cartoon, and finally wrap up with Game of Throne’s Arya Stark doing the cinnamon challenge. Don’t try this at home.

  • Making Waves — The Drums

The Drums’ Jonathan Pierce and Jacob Graham say they don’t know who the hell One Direction’s Harry Styles is but we have photographic proof they do. BUSTED. The guys sat down with andPOP and talked about ardent flossing and their secret plot to kill the rest of the band while on tour. But not really. We also pulled out our ultra-hipster disposable cameras and had them show us how to properly pose.

  • Small Talk — Hoodie Allen Part 1

Hoodie Allen is a great example of how the music industry is changing for the better. He’s proof that you don’t need a major record deal to sell out shows. In this interview @Jordans_life talks to Hoodie about running his own business and the girls in Toronto.

  • #FreshPressLive — May 30/12

One Direction (hubba hubba) stopped by the Today Show and revealed who the most romantic members of the band are. We also talk about a treasure chest prank (is it funny?) and watch a 13-year-old rapper whose hair is drawing comparisons to Justin Bieber.

  • #FreshPressLive — May 28/12

Flo Rida is pretty much a hit factory. In our second part of the interview he talks about his new album (you can pick it up this summer on July 3rd)! Some famous friends of his on the album include the great late Etta James, Avicci, LMFAO, Lil Wayne and more.

  • Small Talk — Marianas Trench Part 2

The guys of Marianas Trench are all crazy excited for their upcoming U.S. tour and spoke to andPOP about their rockstar moments. Things took a sombre turn though when @Jordans_Life asked about a suspicious black eye. The cause? Rock and roll and NYC. Let’s consult the jury.

  • #FreshPressLive — May 24/12

Katy Perry released a new clip of her upcoming movie Part of Me and girl looks GORG without makeup. Andy Samberg gave the commencement speech of commencement speeches at Harvard — how can you top him when he starts with a full out make out session? We’ll also talk about reporter FAILs, mainly, how to create a sandstorm when there isn’t one.

  • Making Waves — T-Mills Part 2

You have to have a cool family if you’re planning on becoming a musician. For most people ‘cool’ means accepting that you’re not a doctor and showing up to the occasional concert. T-Mills’ family, is an extra special family. If you look over at one of his concerts and see an old lady, it’s actually his grandmother. In this episode of ‘Making Waves’ he tells @CiBabs about how his family got down with him becoming a musician.

  • #FreshPressLive — May 23/12

Despite his INSANE schedule Justin Bieber found time to graduate. Since he didn’t have time to go to the ceremony, Ellen had a makeshift graduation ceremony on her show. We talk about this, a Carly Rae Jepsen supercut and Anderson Cooper DOMINATING the barbie lady (he wins).

  • Small Talk — Jason Mraz Part 1

  • Small Talk — Marianas Trench Part 1

Who hasn’t thought about a strategy for if/when zombies start infecting the world? It seems like a pretty normal conversation, no? MT was cool enough to come by our studio to talk about how they would fair in The Hunger Games and their emergency plan for if there’s a zombie apocalypse.

  • #FreshPressLive — May 18/12

Justin Bieber is performing at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday and decided to throw us one by releasing a viddy of him rehearsing “Boyfriend.” We also talk about Will Smith slapping a Ukrainian reporter in the face and a party trick that involves a beer can and a chainsaw.

  • Making Waves — T-Mills Part 1

I think we’ve all had a few crappy incidents involving an airline. That’s why we were happy to discover that even recording artists are susceptible to airline incompetence. T-Mills tells us all about his scare at the airport and his genius plot to get it back. Subscribe to andPOP for new episodes of Making Waves every week!

  • #FreshPressLive — May 16/12

  • Small Talk — Flo Rida Part 1

Sometimes an artist is so popular it’s hard to get them to do an interview in a major market like Toronto. Luckily, here at andPOP we don’t take NO for an answer. So we decided to take a road trip and ask him about going to the club and who pays the bills when he goes out. He also talks about how he signed his new artist Tyler Medieros. GO CANADA!

  • #FreshPressLive — May 15/12

If you’re looking for something to do tonight, why not try Skillex: The Boardgame. It tests both your music knowledge and ability to withstand physical pain. Then we talk about the lazy eye epidemic that’s plaguing teens with emo hair. Finally, we wrap up by watching the best/worst trailer in the world, Jersey Shore Shark Attack.

  • Small Talk — Young Jeezy Part 2

Every kid has a way to make a few dollars when they’re young. The difference is not many kids are hustlers at the age of nine. Jeezy was one of those unique kids that knew he was destine for big things at a very young age. Ironically, even before he became a famous rapper he always had money. Lots of money. The only thing we’re wondering is how do you gauge success when you’re already rich?

  • Small Talk — Dragonette Part 2

We really like Dragonette, they’re a fantastic combination of all kinds of good stuff. They seamlessly combine their own brand of pop with dance music. It’s a fantastic pick-me-up if fever you find yourself in an emergency ‘need to dance’ situation. We asked Martina Sorbara about how she and the rest of the band found their sonic DNA.

  • #FreshPressLive — May 11/12

Justin Bieber basically wins best son in the world for dedicating a number one track to his mom for Mother’s Day. How do we top that? We also ogle at other celebs with their moms and watch an adorbz video of a young toddler in love, but he just can’t catch a break.

Lady Gaga In Therapy for Scary Dream

Posted by Robert Ostfield on February 22nd, 2012

Lady Gaga is in therapy as she’s suffering from constant nightmares of the devil. Luckily, she is receiving the help of Indian doctor and spiritual advisor Deepak Chopra.

Gaga reportedly said, “I have this recurring dream where there’s a phantom in my home and he takes me into a room where there’s a blonde girl with ropes tied to her limbs pulling her apart. I told Deepak the dream was so terrifying I thought somehow that a devil force was trying to take hold of me.”

Gaga also allegedly said, “[Deepak] laughed and told me that I should learn to embrace my own insanity. I told him, ‘The Devil is trying to take me, Deepak. I’m a good girl!’” Chopra’s reply? “Don’t worry.”
