If you’re having troubles getting over the midweek hump, this should help. Upon watching this video of Dergin Tokmak overcoming his disability in an unprecedented display of awesome, your Wednesday slump will be conquered easily.
Unfortunately, most of the information on this guy is in
German or Austrian. Thus, what we’ve managed to piece together is this: Derign is a dancer, acrobat and Cirque De Sole alumni. He was diagnosed with Polio but made the disease his b*tch, and the result is what you’re watching right now.
The video, cleverly tagged “crutchstep”, is mind-blowing. I didn’t think it was possible to look cool dancing to dubstep but I’m glad to be proven wrong by something this incredible.
Watch below as Mr. Tokmak (that is how I will be referring to him from now on), puts on an unbelievable display of choreographed acrobatics to a dubstep remix of Avicii’s song Levels and Katy Perry’s E.T.
