Now that “Harry Potter” and “Twilight” have come to an end, we need a new franchise to obsess about. In comes “Hunger Games”, the epic best-selling novels by Suzanne Collins.
The Hunger Games are an annual event in which one young boy and girl are chosen at random to compete in a televised life-or-death battle. The movie version stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, Liam Hemsworth as Gale, and Lenny Kravitz as Cinna.
A new trailer for the film has been unveiled today, to amp up its theatrical release on March 23. It looks pretty intense.
