Author of such acclaimed books like American Physcho and Less Than Zero, Bret Easton Ellis, is taking a less than kind approach on the topic of teen bullying.
Bret, an openly gay writer, is once again disconnecting with gay youth by writing on his Twitter page that they need to “man up”.
Of all the news and videos going viral of young kids discussing how they’re constantly bullied, you’d think a person like Bret would be more sympathetic and use his celebrity status to do something about this epidemic.
The same guy that once said watching Glee is like “stepping into a puddle of HIV” is now the guy who’s turning the other cheek to bullying. How many more teens have to commit suicide before a chump like Bret finally realizes how insensitive he’s being?
