50 Cent must really like the way Pauly D beats that beat. He just signed the “Jersey Shore” star to his label G-Note.
The “In Da Club” rapper just posted a photo of his new client on Twitter, with the description: “This me and my boy @djpaulyd G NOTES newest addition good times.”
Pauly D was dropping hints about working with 50 since the summer.
“I’m working with 50 Cent now. I’m gonna do an album with him. It’s going to be a little bit of everything. It’s almost like DJ Khaled and kind of David Guetta but my own DJ Pauly D style,” he told MTV News.
Pauly also dishes about potentially selling his own brand of headphones with the rapper’s entrepreneurial skills. So, looks like Pauly’s career will flourish now that Fiddy’s got his back. It’s hard to believe the guy behind “tee-shirt time” on the reality show is the same guy who will make platinum records on G-Note.
Pauly D and 50 Cent just might be our generation’s Simon and Garfunkel. Only more gangster, of course.
