If you don’t want to wait the 11 days it’ll take for Rihanna’s new album to hit stores and iTunes, these 30 second clips will have to suffice.
All 14 songs are potential hit singles. The opening track, “You Da One” is really energetic and gleeful. The fourth track, titled after the album features Jay-Z and his rhymes are fresher than ever. “Cockiness” has a bit of Carribean music mixed in it, so it’s probably the most danceable song on the record.
The album also included a couple ballads like the seventh track “We All Want Love” and “Farewell” although they sound really plain and dull. Rihanna’s not known for her soft, emotional ballads. She’s the queen of dirty, edgy pop and that’s what she should stick to.
The mini clips are put together in this YouTube video, posted below. If it gets taken down (which it probably will, Rihanna’s label is riding YouTube like Seabiscuit) you can listen to the songs here.
