Mitch Winehouse, Amy Winehouse’s Dad, has suggested Amy died from an overdose of an anti-anxiety drug and suffered a seizure.
Mitch explained to Anderson Cooper that the autopsy found traces of Lithium in her body. She was also trying to beat her alcohol addiction.
“Everything Amy did, she did to excess,” Winehouse said during the taping of Cooper’s new show, Anderson, debuting Monday. “She drank to excess and did detox to excess.”
Amy apparently was also having seizures from alcohol withdrawal prior to her death.
