Matthew Morrison, who plays Will Schuester on FOX’s hit show Glee, has been unaffected by rumours saying that he and co-star Lea Michelle (Rachel Berry on Glee) were romantically involved, reports People.com.
Wherever there is fame, there are tabloids, so it’s no surprise that as Glee continues to succeed Morrison is getting a lot of attention. He isn’t getting caught up in it though, telling Parade that the controversy is “so laughable.”
Speaking about the rumours surrounding he and Michelle, Morrison said, “…we were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist, and [Lea] got a call a minute later. And we looked at each other like, ‘What the f—?’”
Morrison also tackled the rumour that he and his ex-fiancee split because she suspected he was cheating.
“I have a great relationship with [my ex],” says Morrison. “I feel like I can handle this stuff because I don’t really care. I’ve never gotten into tabloids and I don’t really care about it now, but I just feel bad for other people in my life who are getting dragged into it. It just kinda sucks.”
Although his character on Glee has hooked up with a few different ladies on the show in the past few weeks, Matthew Morrison wants to make it clear that it doesn’t have any kind of similarity to his own life.
